Inga's All-Natural Goat's Milk Soap I always wanted to try keeping milk goats, and finally took the plunge in 2006. I absolutely love them. They are the most wonderful animals. Their milk is smooth, rich and creamy, and tastes, to us and our friends who have dared try it, just like the best whole cow's milk we've ever had. There is no funny taste to the properly handled milk of a goat who is healthy, well bred and well fed. We drink it, and make cheeses, ice cream, and soap from it. Our edible products are not for sale, but we do sell lots of soap. I love making it, and we could never use as much as I can make, so I started selling it. Our labels say "All natural Inga's Goat's Milk Soap" and "Made in Fall Branch, Tennessee". It is currently sold at the following locally owned retailers in the tri-cities: Family Pharmacy in Fall Branch, Dainty Dirt in Downtown Bristol, Boone's Creek Pharmacy, and Mac's Medicine Mart/ Good Food Grocery in Kingsport. It will, of course, be in the gift shop here at the nursery, too. We are proud to say that soap made from our sweet little goats' milk is being used all over the world, maybe at this very moment. It has traveled as far away as Venice, the UK, and all over the U.S., and to troops and citizens in Iraq and Afghanistan. This soap is really nice. It lathers well, rinses clean, and leaves your skin feeling clean but moisturized. The soaps are all vegetable oil based and contain olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, distilled water, goat's milk, and essential oils and botanicals. They are simply packaged and labeled. Bars are hand-cut and are approximately 4 oz. They are $5 each, and can be shipped easily. Price includes domestic shipping in most circumstances. Call 423/348-6570 to order. Who is Inga?
