What IS a Native Plant?

We have always been interested in plants that produce something you can eat.  Now that we are starting to settle into our new place, I am getting ready to increase our offerings in this regard.  Here is a list of the things we have now.  Look for this list to grow in the future.  All of these plants are attractive enough to include in amongst your ornamental landscape.

Wonderful Lettuces- including butterhead and romaine types

Pavement Roses (Low- growing, low-maintenance Rugosa type roses which produce large, edible hips)

Serviceberries- Regent and Autumn Brilliance
