We have always been interested in plants that produce something you can eat. Now that we are starting to settle into our new place, I am getting ready to increase our offerings in this regard. Here is a list of the things we have now. Look for this list to grow in the future. All of these plants are attractive enough to include in amongst your ornamental landscape.
Alpine and European Woodland Strawberry American Hazelnut Blueberries- Rabbiteye varieties including Climax, Tiffblue and others Cornus mas- Cornelian Cherry Elderberry Figs- Brown Turkey and Celeste Paw Paw Red and Black Chokeberry Spicebush Lots of Edible Flowers Heirloom Tomatoes, Peppers, and Eggplant Wonderful Lettuces- including butterhead and romaine types Pavement Roses (Low- growing, low-maintenance Rugosa type roses which produce large, edible hips) Serviceberries- Regent and Autumn Brilliance
